Color Kit

Thanks to this Color Kit, everybody can create their own color of resin. The reason for this is the creation of uniform colored prints without post-processing or painting. And just as with the other resins, the Form 2 offers the best quality prints and smooth finish.

What are the advantages of the Color Kit?
The Color Kit provides your prototypes, conceptual models and other prints with the highest quality in a consistent color. It also remains possible to paint your models with different colors afterwards.

How does the Color Kit work?
Each Color Kit contains a Color Base cartridge and five bottles of Color Pigment. This Color Pigment colors are Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Black and White. Also included are the syringes for easy measuring and a Recipe Book.

For every color, another recipe is required. You must use the syringe the measure the appropriate amount of Color Pigment. Be aware, once you have made a color in the Color Base, it is very hard to make it into another color.

After mixing the Pigment in the Color Base, it is advised to shake the cartridge very well before placing it in the Form 2.

What are the possible colors?
In the Recipe Book, Formlabs has tested and included 16 different colors. But it isn’t limited to these 16 colors, you can create your own color thanks to the Color Picker. This Color Picker tells you how much Pigment you need to mix to create your own color.
