ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) is a commonly used material. It's less brittle than PLA and can also easily be post-processed with acetone to provide a smooth surface finish.
ABS is not as 'liquid' as PLA when extruded which leads to lower oozing.
When ABS cools down, it will contract which may lead to warped parts. A heated build platform (and/or heated build chamber) should be used to counteract this effect.
